Music Theory + Ear Training
Depending on your past experience and current interests and goals, curriculum may include: Intervals, scales, modes, triads, seventh chords, 9ths, 11ths, 13ths, inversions, sus chords, color tones, clusters, quartal harmonies, quintal harmonies, sight singing, melodic notation, rhythmic notation, harmonic progressions, harmonic rhythm, short composition exercises, and preparing for testing and auditions.
You can book:
* a “test-the-waters” session — either 30 minutes or 60 minutes
* a single session or master class — either 60 minutes, 90 minutes, or 120 minutes
* a one-time feedback session — either 60 minutes, 90 minutes, or 120 minutes
* in blocks of 10 sessions where we meet once a week for 10 weeks — either 30 minutes or 60 minutes each
We meet via Zoom, FaceTime, or Skype.
Compensation is $100 an hour, payable by Zelle or check.
